AirHammer Install guide
AIRHAMMER KIT CONTAINS: 2 INTAKE TUBES, 4 PCS SILICONE, 6 CLAMPS, aFe AIRFILTER, BREATHER HOSE
TOOLS NEEDED: FLAT BLADE SCEWDRIVER, RATCHET, 10mm & 7mm SOCKET, 3” HOLESAW
|STEP 1: Remove the engine cover by pulling up on each corner, disconnect breather hose from the drivers side rocker cover.|
|STEP 2: Undo, the clamps on the throttle body and air box, disconnect Mass Airflow sensor (MAF), remove the intake tube, Undo the 2, 10mm nuts from the air box then remove.|
STEP 3: Using a large piece of silicone put it on the throttle body, place 2 clamps over silicone and insert the AIRHAMMER tube, tighten up clamps (make sure the tube is pushed up hard against throttle body) place another large piece of silicone and clamps on the other end of the AIRHAMMER tube.
Remove the MAF from the intake tube, Use the small piece of silicone and put this over the small end of the MAF then insert this end of the MAF into the 2nd piece of large silicone (watch the arrow on the MAF) and tighten clamps.
Fit the AFE filter to the long end of the 2nd Tube and fit the last piece of silicone to the other end with clamps
Place the tube and filter into the inner wheel arch and fit silicone to the other end of the MAF, move around till it all fits snugly and tighten clamps.
Fit the breather hose to the AIRHAMMER Tube and route around to the rocker cover, push over the fitting Go over all the clamps and tighten, make sure the MAF is connected.
STEP 4: To get more power from your AIRHAMMER and your car try the following Remove the front bumper bar, undo the 2, 10mm nuts and clips from the grille, there are 2 more plastic clips each side of the bumper bar, there are 5, 7mm bolts underneath the bumper bar, inside the inner wheel arches are 2, 10mm bolts loosen these, then pull the bar down and pull forward remove the bumper bar Use a 3” hole saw and cut a hole in the passenger side air deflector ducting,
Refit bumper bar
Now its HAMMERTIME!, road test and enjoy
